What makes a good forum, Zema, is the content and player interaction. It is people offering insight on how to play the game or some helpful information.I am sure you know everything there is to know about how to make a good forum. I think this is going to be a great forum as people play the game and continue to interact with each other. Maybe if you learn to spell, people will take your criticism seriously. |

phpBB or myBB. Oh so boring! Who likes to see 1, 000, 000 forums that all look the same?But you say you offer some constructive criticism, but say only "And by the looks of the website, the website owner know very little HTML." I see nothing "constructive" or any "criticism" there. Simply an insult for someone apparently "not knowing html". You might instead of offering such an insult, say something like "I don't like this forum because it lacks graphical icons and animated widgets". Or, the HTML code used is incorrect and crashes my browser (and give an example of the bad HTML code). Or some other reference to something you think is poorly done. |
| Belittling someone by saying that he knows very little HTML is certainly no constructive criticism. Before you even say something like that in a forum, you better make sure that you are an authority in this topic and you can say it well. People should at least respect others online even if we don't know and don't see each other. Whatever forum or site that you frequently visit is a matter of preference and we should all respect that. |
| Hi there! I totally agree with you Frances, . Yes, each one of us has to respect other people's idea about certain things. He may not be an expert with regards to a particular thing but it doesn't mean that it will make him a lesser person. Just remember the Golden Rule all the time. | I would have to back up Zema in what he (or she) posted. Now days it is so easy to just begin a website without really knowing what you are doing, and telling someone to put a bit of effort into their HTML programming is constructive enough. It's not as though it is that difficult to learn proper HTML--it's not a genetic disorder. It just takes some work, something many people are not willing to do and should get reprimanded for it. |

I don't like the new facebook layout, should I tell them to go learn HTML?I think the problem the original post had relates not so much to HTML coding, but a dislike of the presentation. The web would be quite boring if all the sites looked alike. |
